  1. Living Room
  2. Kitchen
  3. Bathroom
  4. Bedroom

Starting with the living room, make sure that all the clutters are cleared. Toys, magazines and other materials lying on the floor must be put in their proper places to avoid tripping over them. Dirt from the tables and cabinets must be wiped off using microfiber cloth or a Swiffer cloth. For the windows, use a streak-free glass cleaner so that the dust will be removed then use newspapers to make it extra clean and clear. The sofas can be tidied up by using a dust-buster or a hose attachment on a full-sized vacuum cleaner.

After which, proceed to the kitchen where most of the dirty activities take place. Remove the removable parts of the stove such as the griddles then simply clean it with water. As for the grates, you can wash them in hot water using a dish washing liquid. Use a wet cloth or sponge to clear off splatters and spills on the counter tops. Also, do not leave the microwave unclean. You can clean it up by filling a bowl half full of water and add a tablespoon of white vinegar. Place it inside the microwave and turn the microwave for about 5 minutes. After which remove the bowl then wipe the inside of the microwave using a paper towel or cloth.

Next up, clobber the germs from your bathroom by starting off with the walls, tile and counter tops. Spray it with all-purpose cleaner and wipe off the dirt with a clean cloth. As for the toilet, baking soda will do the trick! Just pour a cup of baking soda into the bowl and let it stand for a few minutes then flush it after. Clean the exterior of the toilet and the toilet seat. Just a tip: do not use a sponge in scrubbing a toilet since sponges can breed bacteria. Baking soda or vinegar can be also an effective ingredient to clean the sink together with hot water. Lastly, replace your floor mats as well as towels.

Going to the most private part of the house, the bedroom must not be neglected otherwise sleeping inside it will bring you your worst nightmare! Carpet and mattresses collect dust and dander and is a potential breeding spot for dust mites. It is recommended to wash your bedding’s in hot water. Sheets and pillowcases must be washed every week and blankets and pillows every month.

Cleaning is a very fulfilling job after you have seen your home very neat and dirt-free! So the next time you want to get your house clean, do not forget to have a house cleaning checklist in mind!
